As part of the "Engaging Local Communities in Normalizing Public Life in Taiz Governorate" project, the Youth Without Borders Organization for Development launched lighting in the entrances of Al-Batool neighborhood in Al-Mudhaffar district. Solar-powered lighting was installed at the main entrances and streets of the neighborhood to improve the security and safety of the residents. This activity was designed and proposed by the community committee after enhancing their capacity in conflict resolution and promoting social peace.
Activity Results
This activity contributed to improving the security situation and social peace in the Al-Batool area by providing the necessary lighting in the streets and main entrances. It also strengthened the organization's partnership with the community committees in the target districts to normalize public life.
