About Activity
Funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and in partnership with the Youth Without Borders organization, the Wasil Al-Salam initiative is currently implementing the "Taiz is More Beautiful" project to solve the problem of random waste dumping in the Al-Jumhuri area - Al-Qahira district, as a contribution to resolving the community conflicts that occur from time to time between the residents of the area. The project involved removing the waste from the random sites, cleaning and beautifying the sites by painting, designating a waste collection area, rehabilitating the dedicated barrels, and coordinating with the Cleaning Fund to carry out the daily waste removal.
