About Activity
The organization "Youth Without Borders for Development" works based on the Strategic Vision 2025, with the second strategic objective being to influence the formulation of local and national policies aimed at building peace. This is through the strategic initiative 2.4 "Supporting and coordinating the efforts of local, national coalitions, networks and organizations working in the field of peacebuilding."
From this standpoint, and within the framework of the "Active Communities" project, the "Youth Without Borders" organization, along with the NODES Yemen and Saferworld organizations, have established a coalition of civil society organizations in Taiz under the name "Civic Voices Coalition", which includes 15 organizations interested in different segments of the community.
Activity Results
The coalition aims to:
- Raise awareness on the culture of tolerance and peaceful coexistence
- Strengthen community cohesion at the local and national levels
- Unify the efforts of civil work in peacebuilding
- Open communication channels between decision-makers and civil society organizations working in peacebuilding
- Develop effective community mechanisms for conflict resolution and peacebuilding.
