About Activity
Within the framework of engaging youth and women in conflict resolution and the inclusive peace process, and working with local authorities to address the root causes of conflict and insecurity, to enable them to contribute to peace processes at the local and national levels.
With funding from Saferworld, the "Youth Without Borders" organization held "Participatory planning meetings for youth and women's initiatives with local authorities and beneficiary communities" within the "Active Communities" project in the districts of (Al-Mudhafar - Al-Qahira - Sala - Sabr Al-Mawadim). The meetings lasted for four days during the period from July 25-28, 2022.
Activity Results
The youth and women's initiatives participating in the project met with local authority figures and beneficiary communities in each district separately, and they discussed and identified the priority issues and conflicts that will be intervened in.
This is within the framework of empowering local communities to work with the authorities in identifying the main parties to the conflict in their communities and addressing them.
