In the presence of the Vice President of Taiz University, Dr. Riyad Al-Okab, and the Executive Director of the Youth Without Borders Organization, Mr. Tammam Al-Shibani, as well as a number of deans of colleges and centers at the university. Under the slogan "Supporting Peace and Coexistence", the Youth Without Borders Organization, in partnership with the University of Taiz and with funding from GIZ and the European Union, launched the Sports Games Course as part of the "Our Activities are Coexistence" project at the University of Taiz, which aims to spread the culture of coexistence and peace among the local community and youth.
Activity Results
The Sports Games Course includes youth participation from 8 colleges at the university in open team and individual tournaments:
(Football Championship, Volleyball Championship, Chess Championship, Tennis Championship, Billiards Championship).
During the launch, Dr. Riyad Al-Okab emphasized the importance of the "Our Activities are Coexistence" project, which includes various sports, artistic, and cultural activities. These activities play an important role in delivering messages of coexistence and strengthening relationships within the community. "We hope that the project will achieve its goals by developing the students' talents, intellectual and creative abilities to create community awareness and spread the culture of coexistence and peace. Enabling them to play a positive and effective role in public life.
