A conference of the "local" electronic and field-based Displaced Women and Girls Dialogue Platform was held in Taiz Governorate. The field-based platform includes 30 women leaders in Taiz, and both the electronic and field-based platforms will conduct local dialogues that contribute to integrating the priorities of the issues of displaced women into the economy, social services, and social coexistence in all stages of humanitarian work, development, and peace.
Activity Results
The conference was attended by the Deputy Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office, Fuad Abdullah, as well as Ahlam Al-Maqaleh, a journalist and member of the platform, in addition to a number of media professionals and journalists.
The establishment of this electronic platform and the physical platform is one of the activities of the "Humanitarian Dialogue for Peace and for Displaced Women and Girls in Yemen" project, implemented by the Youth Without Borders for Development Organization in partnership with the Ethar Foundation for Humanitarian Development, with international partnership with UN Women and funding from the Women's Peace and Humanitarian Fund.
