About Reference
The Strategic Plan for the Youth Sector (2021), issued by the Ministry of Youth and Sports – Yemen, was developed to provide a comprehensive framework for strengthening the role of youth in Yemen amid ongoing conflict, political instability, and economic deterioration
The strategy was prepared through a participatory and research-based process that included field studies in several governorates, electronic and in-person questionnaires, focus group discussions, in-depth interviews, an institutional capacity assessment of the youth sector within the Ministry, and a national Youth Forum held in Aden in December 2021
