About Activity

The Mahra Youth Unity Association, in partnership with the Youth Without Borders for Development organization, the Civil Coalition for Peace, and with funding from the Civil Society Platform for Peacebuilding, implemented a workshop on localizing Goal 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) of the Sustainable Development Goals "Opportunities and Challenges" as part of the Voice of Yemen for Peace 2 project.

Activity Results

At the opening of the workshop, the Deputy Director General of Social Affairs and Labor in the governorate, Mr. Salem Swailim Salem, and the Executive Director of the Mahra Youth Unity Association, Mr. Amin Muhammad bin Asum, attended. Swailim pointed to the importance of the workshop in utilizing it to build the capacities of youth leaders to reach the approved and accredited level in the development and humanitarian fields, and to keep pace with the latest developments to advance society through the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
