As part of the "Engaging Local Communities in Normalizing Public Life in Taiz Governorate" project, the Youth Without Borders Organization for Development launched the illumination of some main streets in Al-Qahirah District, Taiz Governorate. This activity was implemented in partnership with the community committees in the Al-Jumhuri and Zaid Al-Mawshaki areas, and in the presence of a representative from the Local Council of Al-Qahirah District. The illuminated streets included: Al-Shaybani Mosque Roundabout, in front of Taiz Secondary School, Suq Al-Sumeil, Fourth Point Roundabout, the Old Electricity Roundabout with the street leading to Zaid Al-Mawshaki Roundabout and the street leading to Al-Safwa Hospital. This activity is part of the Youth Without Borders Organization's efforts to improve the security situation, social peace, and normalize public life in the governorate.

  • Improved lighting in several main streets in Al-Qahirah District, Taiz Governorate.
  • Increased sense of security and improved security situation in the targeted areas.
  • Strengthened social peace and normalization of public life in the district.
  • Strengthened cooperation between the Youth Without Borders Organization and the local communities in the targeted areas.
