About Activity
As part of the project "Engaging Local Communities in Normalizing Public Life in Taiz Governorate", the Organization of Youth Without Borders for Development inaugurated the "Small Dreams" project in Sala District. A set of recreational games and summer center facilities were established to end the community conflicts between the residents of the neighborhood and the neighboring areas, and between the children and their families, resulting from the children's practice of their games near residential houses. This project was implemented in partnership with the community committee in Al-Shamasi, Harat Shawlaq area, and in the presence of the director of Sala District.
Activity Results
- Ending the community conflicts that were occurring between the residents of the neighborhood and the neighboring areas, and between the children and their families.
- Providing a safe space for children to play and release their energy.
- Enhancing social cohesion in the target area.
