As part of the "Engaging Local Communities in Normalizing Public Life in Taiz Governorate" project, and with the support of the community committees in the Al-Mahata and Cultural Center areas in Sala District, the Youth Without Borders Organization for Development launched the rehabilitation of the Al-Haraziah well and the water network extending from the well to the target areas. This aims to alleviate the community conflicts resulting from water scarcity and the residents' struggle over this vital resource.

  • The Al-Haraziah well and the water network extending from it to the Al-Mahata and Cultural Center areas in Sala District have been rehabilitated.
  • Access to water has been ensured for all residents in the target areas.
  • Community conflicts over water among the residents of these areas have been reduced.
  • Social cohesion among the community members in the target areas has been enhanced.
