About Activity
Given the urgent need to strengthen coordination between civil society organizations and local initiatives, the importance of organizing workshops became evident to clarify roles and responsibilities among stakeholders and develop joint action plans that enhance cooperation and support the project’s objectives.
As part of the Sharakat project, the activity "Orientation and Planning Workshops" was implemented to foster understanding and coordination between civil society organizations and local initiatives. The activity focused on analyzing the current situation, discussing priorities, and creating practical plans to enhance collaboration and define responsibilities.
The activity was carried out from April 5 to May 15, 2022, in Taiz Governorate. Twenty-eight participants, equally divided between men and women, took part in the workshops, which contributed to preparing clear action plans and enhancing coordination among actors to support the efficient implementation of future activities.

Activity Results
· Three orientation and planning workshops were held in Taiz Governorate, engaging 28 participants (14 men and 14 women) representing civil society organizations and local initiatives. The workshops focused on analyzing the current situation, identifying shared priorities, and developing actionable plans to strengthen cooperation and coordination.
· These workshops resulted in the creation of planning documents for each governorate, which included comprehensive analyses of needs and challenges along with clear recommendations to improve collaboration among actors. Additionally, the activity contributed to building a better understanding of roles and responsibilities among participants, enhancing their efficiency in implementing activities and supporting youth and women’s issues in a more organized manner.
