About Activity
On March 12, 2015, the Youth Without Borders for Development Organization (YWBOD) concluded a 3-day marketing training course for 20 young men and women. The training was organized in partnership with the Taiz Development Network, Ador Youth Development Organization, and Siraj Development Organization. The project was funded by the Canadian Local Initiatives Fund (CLFI) and the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.
Activity Results
- The training course was conducted over 3 days from March 10-12, 2015.
- The project aimed to reduce poverty and unemployment among youth in Taiz by engaging them in economic activities that provide them with self-reliant job opportunities.
- The project will continue for 4 months, during which various activities will be implemented to achieve the overall and specific objectives of the project.
- Job opportunities will be provided to the participants at the production facility established as part of the project to improve their income and reduce unemployment and poverty among youth in Taiz governorate.
