About Activity
As part of its efforts to promote community security and peace, the Borderless Youth organization is launching the "Improving Mechanisms for Community-Based Peacebuilding" project. The project will target three districts in Taiz governorate - Al-Qahirah, Al-Mudhaffar, and Salah - and will be implemented in partnership with local authorities, youth initiatives, and community working groups.
Activity Results
The project aims to build the capacities and empower local communities, including women, youth, and other marginalized groups, to participate in comprehensive responses to issues of concern to the local community. This will be achieved through capacity building and providing material and technical support to community and youth initiatives to implement activities that contribute to enhancing community security and peace in the target districts.
This launch event was held through a consultative meeting attended by representatives of the directors of the Salah, Al-Mudhaffar, and Al-Qahirah districts, as well as representatives of the local authority, community initiatives, and youth initiatives. The purpose was to introduce the project, explain the participation mechanism and selection criteria for participants.
