Youth contribute to enhancing community security and peace in the Directorate of Sabr Al-Mawadim - Taiz

After building the capacities of its members, the Isnad for Culture initiative is paving a path from the village of Al-Jarash to the village of Al-Majawil in Sabr Al-Mawadim (a length of 195 meters, and a width of 3.5 meters) by expanding and leveling it, in addition to building supporting walls for around 50 meters to preserve the road body, expansion, and protect it from deterioration, and another road for motorcycles (450 meters long, and one and a half meters wide). This project aims to resolve a conflict over the road construction, where the number of beneficiaries will reach 1,008 people from the residents of the villages of Al-Jarash, Al-Majawil, and the surrounding villages.

The project was implemented with partial funding from the Youth Without Borders organization within the Active Communities project implemented by the organization in partnership with the Saferworld organization and with wide community participation and contribution from the people of the region and the cooperation of the local authorities.
