Youth Governance in the Post-Conflict Phase: Towards a Sustainable Model in Yemen

This paper seeks to explore ways to build a sustainable model for youth governance in post-conflict Yemen, aiming to enhance the presence of young people as key actors in reconstruction, peace, and development. The paper addresses institutional and structural challenges, as well as the impacts of conflict on youth, such as the collapse of protection systems and forced recruitment. It also provides a set of recommendations for legislative reforms to ensure youth representation of no less than 30% in government institutions and local councils.
