Youth participation in political spheres is crucial to the democratic transition and stabilization process in Yemen. The Yemeni youth, who constitute a large population, represent a tremendous source of energy, hope and innovative thinking, which can be harnessed to shape a dynamic and inclusive political landscape. However, youth participation in political life in Yemen faces many challenges and obstacles. This comprehensive policy brief aims to focus on the issue of youth political participation in Yemen, a country suffering from conflict and instability, in order to understand the vision of youth for political participation in Yemen, and to identify the social, economic, political and cultural factors that prevent their effective participation in public and political spheres. The brief also aims to provide reliable and relevant information for policy and program efforts aimed at increasing youth representation and leadership in Yemen. This paper seeks to create a local and global understanding of the importance of the role of youth in Yemen and the change they can bring about. It also aims to engage the national and international community in supporting the efforts of Yemeni youth to build a more peaceful and prosperous future for themselves and their communities. Knowledge and collaboration will play a crucial role in realizing the aspirations of Yemeni youth and achieving sustainable change.
