The "Be an Example" initiative implemented the lighting project for the Wadi Al-Madam neighborhood as part of the "Improving Community Peacebuilding Mechanisms in Yemen" project, funded by the Youth Without Borders for Development organization in partnership with Saferworld.
Activity Results
As part of this project, the initiative held a consultative meeting with the neighborhood elders and the community committee in the Wadi Al-Madam neighborhood.
This meeting contributed greatly, and resulted in the neighborhood elders and community committee committing to protect the solar system from theft and to maintain it in case of any damage, to ensure its sustainability.
