About Project
Community Resurgence project aims to enhance the capacity of youth and local communities to counter violence and build peace by empowering them psychologically, socially, and economically. In parallel, it works to support governmental and community institutions involved in reintegration and recovery. The project focuses on building a more inclusive and resilient community environment and strengthening cooperation between youth, the community, and local authorities to achieve long-term community stability.
The project targets the districts of Al-Mudhaffar, Salah, Mashra'a wa Hadnan in Taiz Governorate through a series of activities. These include community dialogues, awareness-raising visits, media production, psychological support, trauma therapy programs, and training in life skills and entrepreneurship. The overall goal is to create a supportive environment for the reintegration of youth from two categories: those returning from frontlines and those at risk.
